Roddy White might be the best wide receiver looking for a new contract this summer.
Unlike his position colleagues Brandon Marshall, Anquan Boldin, and Braylon Edwards, White hasn’t been honking publicly for his new deal. That tactic hasn’t worked either.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that contract talks thus far “have not gone well.” Falcons G.M. Thomas Dimitroff will only say that conversations are ongoing.
White’s agent Jonathan Feinsod had a “no comment” when asked about the situation or the possibility of a holdout.
Falcons camp starts on Saturday; perhaps White will quietly become the only one of the receiver group to speak louder with actions than words.
