The Eagles didn’t have running back Darren Sproles in the lineup for last Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals, but Sproles says that won’t be the case again this week.

Sproles injured his knee in the team’s Week Six win over the Giants and wound up being listed as questionable for last week’s game after spending the bye week rehabbing the injury. The team ultimately decided not to play him, however.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Sproles said things would be different against the Texans. Sproles practiced on Tuesday and said afterward that he will be in the lineup when the game kicks off in Houston.

Chris Polk had three carries and a catch while spelling LeSean McCoy against Arizona to record his first offensive touches of the season. Sproles has 409 yards and three touchdowns from scrimmage and a punt return touchdown this season.

Center Jason Kelce also practiced for the Eagles and opened the workout as part of the first-team offensive line, which is a good sign that he could return from sports hernia surgery this weekend.
