Dexter McDonald works out for Dolphins

Free agent cornerback Dexter McDonald worked out for the Dolphins on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McDonald, 27, spent last season on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

The Raiders made McDonald a seventh-round choice in 2015. He played 27 games with six starts during his four seasons in Oakland.

For his career, McDonald has 47 tackles, a forced fumble and seven pass breakups.
