Doug Baldwin isn’t happy with the Seahawks losing

Baldwin

Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray didn’t talk to reporters after Sunday’s win over Seattle. In contrast, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin talked plenty.

Via Curtis Crabtree of KJR radio (and part time at PFT), Baldwin sounded off in the locker room regarding the struggles of the Seattle offense.

Asked whether it was difficult for the offense to get into a rhythm because the Seahawks didn’t have the ball much, Baldwin said, “No. F--k that. We had plenty of time. We had plenty of time to making f--king plays on the field. Plenty of time.”

Said receiver Ricardo Lockette from two lockers away: “Deep breath, Doug. Deep breath.”

Baldwin, who contributed a touchdown by blocking a punt, then was asked about the contents of an “animated” conversation with quarterback Russell Wilson.

“What you think, man? We’re frustrated. The offense can’t f--king move the ball. We’ve got too much f--king talent over here not to be moving the ball. It’s not on Russ. I’m saying in general, our offense, we’re too just f--king good not to be moving the ball down the field. I’m not mad at Russ at all, it’s a collaborative thing. We’ve all got to pitch in and do our part. We’ve all got to be better.”

Yes they do. The defending champions are 3-2. And they’ve lost at home, in the place believed to be an impenetrable fortress.

The Cowboys showed it isn’t. And now the hunted are going to have to figure out how to do some hunting, all over again.
