The Minnesota Vikings are in the same boat as the rest of us when it comes to finding out whether Brett Favre’s injured ankle could prevent him from playing in 2010: They’re just waiting to hear from Favre.
Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Favre yet to communicate anything to the Vikings regarding any decision on ankle surgery.
As of a week ago, Favre hadn’t made up his mind about whether he’d have ankle surgery, contrary to a report from the St. Paul Pioneer Press that he had already decided not to have the surgery.
Whether Favre is going to have the ankle surgery or not, he’s probably going to play in 2010. And he’s probably going to wait about three more months before he informs the Vikings of his intentions.
