The Giants, already facing litigation over the authenticity of game-worn merchandise, have another lawsuit on their hands relating, sort of, to memorabilia.
Via Anthony G. Attrino of NJ.com, the Giants have been sued by a woman who claims that she was injured when a large, framed team photo fell on her in 2014 at the MetLife Stadium gift shop.
53-year-old Laura Gallagher contends that the photo “fell from a shelf and violently struck her” on September 14, 2014. She also claims that the team and the stadium failed to preserve the frame as evidence.
Both the Giants and representatives from MetLife Stadium declined comment.
