The Jacksonville Jaguars might want to have their guards skip pregame warmups for the rest of the season. Chris Naeole was expected to make his season debut against the Browns on Sunday but broke his hand during warmups and will have surgery that will likely keep him out for the rest of the season. That means they won’t get a single game from Naeole, who started 87 of 96 games for the Jags since joining the team in 2002, this season. He was coming back from a torn quad that ended his 2007 season after eight games. He’ll join Maurice Williams, also injured during pregame warmups, and Vince Manuwai on injured reserve. That leaves Tutan Reyes and Uche Nwaneri as the starters for a Jaguar team that struggled to run the ball against the Browns on Sunday.
