Jets Claim Martrez Milner On Waivers

Tight end Martrez Milner has a new team, but he won’t have to worry about subleasing his apartment. The New York Jets have announced that they have been awarded Milner via waivers from the New York Giants. Milner was a fourth-round pick of the Falcons in 2007. Despite two starts during the 2007 season, Milner was waived by the Falcons in September 2008, and he spent the balance of the year on the Giants’ practice squad before being waived on May 21, 2009. The Jets also waived two undrafted free agents whom the Jets signed on May 1: offensive lineman Kyle Link and tight end Rob Myers.
