A former Jets General Manager is leaving the club’s front office.
New York has let go of senior director of college scouting Terry Bradway, the club announced Friday afternoon. The Jets also parted ways with director of college scouting Jeff Bauer.
Bradway had been in his position for the last two seasons, with Bauer’s tenure in his role lasting three seasons.
“Today, I informed Terry and Jeff that the organization will be moving forward without them,” new Jets G.M. Mike Maccagnan said in a team-issued statement Friday. “They have made valuable contributions to the New York Jets for more than a decade and we wish them both success in the future.”
Bradway was the Jets’ G.M. from 2001 through 2005. He had spent the last 14 seasons with the club, with Bauer’s tenure lasting 13 seasons.
The Jets hired Maccagnan as General Manager this week. Alterations to scouting departments are common after leadership changes at the top.
