Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is considering whether he should retire. And it sounds like he’s close to making a decision.
“I pray that God takes away the desire in me to play this game,” Warner told Rick Reilly of ESPN. “I’ve loved it for so long. I need Him to take that away from me, so that I can be comfortable with this decision.”
And there you have it. Warner is done, and he’s currently processing his selfish desire to play one more season -- and to be paid a large chunk of money for it.
