Panthers get Tony Pike under contract

The Carolina Panthers drafted not one but two rookie quarterbacks in April.

And one of them officially is a member of the team.

The Panthers announced today that sixth-rounder Tony Pike has agreed to terms. A standout at Cincinnati, some think Pike was a steal in round six.

He’s slated to serve as the No. 3 quarterback behind Matt Moore and second-rounder Jimmy Clausen.
