We mentioned this morning that Giants assistant Al Holcomb was the latest low-profile name to interview with the Panthers, who are filling in the blanks of their coaching staff without the promise of the same kind of job security other teams can offer.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Panthers hired Holcomb as their linebackers coach Friday, filling all the position coach-level jobs available on their staff.
Holcomb was a defensive assistant with the Giants, and also served as a minority coaching intern with the Jets.
