Brandon Joyce, a former Illinois State offensive lineman, was invited to minicamp on Thursday and was out there on Friday -- after first getting permission to miss work from his boss at his day job.
Said Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo of QB Sam Bradford, “I wanted to see his command of the huddle, his interaction with his teammates. And he kind of stepped to the forefront. You could tell he was the guy that’s done this before.”
