Another veteran member of the Dolphins has been released.

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that defensive tackle Randy Starks joined Brian Hartline, Philip Wheeler and Cortland Finnegan as former members of the team on Wednesday morning. The move clears $5 million in cap space for the Dolphins.

Starks spent the last seven seasons with Miami and played in all but one of the Dolphins’ games over that span. He had 30.5 sacks and four interceptions while filling a prominent role on the team’s defensive line. Starks’s play against the run tailed off in 2014, but he remained an effective pass rusher and the 31-year-old will likely find teams interested in adding him to their mix up front for the 2015 season.

The Dolphins lost Jared Odrick to Jacksonville in free agency, leaving them without two of their busiest linemen from last season. As you may have heard, though, there’s a pretty big and pretty expensive addition on his way to the roster.
