Last weekend may not have been a historically terrible one for NFL kickers, but that’s not stopping teams from making or considering changes at the position.

The Buccaneers parted ways with Kyle Brindza on Monday and Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that the Saints will be looking at candidates to replace Zach Hocker. Hocker missed a 30-yard field goal late in regulation that would have won the Saints’ game against the Cowboys on Sunday night without the need to go into overtime.

Hocker called the miss “unacceptable” after the game and Saints coach Sean Payton referenced the need to “clean up that operation.” Hocker has missed three kicks so far this season.

Sunday’s game also saw Hocker pitch in as a punter after Thomas Morstead hurt his leg and Marvez reports that the team will also be looking at punters during a busy week on the special teams front in New Orleans.
