Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been named AFC offensive player of the week after torching the Buffalo Bills in Week Four for 340 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions on 22-of-36 passing. Brady scrambled in a fourth score.

The Pats-Bills game was close after one half. New England blew it open in the final two quarters, scoring touchdowns on six consecutive second-half possessions. Brady has notched three straight 300-plus-yard passing games. He’s also tossed a touchdown pass in 36 straight games, tying Brett Favre for the third longest streak in league history.

At 47, Hall of Famer Johnny Unitas and Saints quarterback Drew Brees share the record for most consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

Brady has now tied Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning for most offensive player of the week awards in NFL history. They both have 21 on their decorated resumes.
