Trufant, Hill return to Seahawks practice

A day after Jim Mora learned he may not be without linebacker Lofa Tatupu for the year, the Seahawks coached received more good news about his defense.

Cornerback Marcus Trufant and linebacker LeRoy Hill returned to practice Tuesday. Trufant, Seattle’s best player in the secondary, hasn’t practiced since before training camp. He spent the first six weeks of the year on the physically unable to perform list, and has a chance to return to the field when Seattle gets back from its Week Seven bye.

Hill hasn’t practiced since hurting his groin in Week One, but should be ready to play in Seattle’s next game. Tatupu was at practice in a jersey, but didn’t participate.

Wideout Deion Branch also took part in practice, which indicates that he’s not going anywhere.

As usual, most trade deadline talk will be just that: talk.
