The Mike Vick redemption story continues, and it’s no surprise that his performance for the ages against the Giants have captured for him the NFC’s offensive player of the week award.

The Eagles announced the development this morning, pointing out that it’s Vick’s third such award this season.

Before 2010, Vick had been named offensive player of the week four times in seven NFL seasons.

The next question is whether receiver DeSean Jackson will be named the NFC’s special-teams player of the week for his punt return for the ages that won the game against the Giants.
