    Eagles waived QB Reid Sinnett.
The third-year UDFA out of San Diego has never attempted a regular-season pass and completed just 52.1% of his preseason throws for a measly 5.3 YPA and two touchdowns with one interception this summer. Jalen Hurts and Gardnew Minshew are the Eagles’ quarterbacks.

The Athletic’s Bo Wulf said Jalen Hurts’ ankle injury has “affected his style of play” in recent weeks.
It’s among the reasons Hurts probably won’t play much Saturday against Dallas. Hurts, dealing with the nagging ankle issue that has limited him at practice for weeks, had just two rushing attempts in Week 16 against the Giants and seven rushes in Week 17 against the Football Team. Hurts has averaged 9.27 rushes per game in 2021. Look for Gardner Minshew to get most of the Eagles snaps against the Cowboys while the Eagles rest Hurts for a postseason run. Third-stringer Reid Sinnett could also see some snaps against Dallas.

  • PHI Quarterback #16
Eagles declared QB Reid Sinnett, DB Kary Vincent Jr., CB Tay Gowan, and DT Marlon Tuipulotu inactive for Week 16 against the Giants.
For the second straight week, the Eagles are essentially at full strength as they look to complete a late-season push for a wild card. Philadelphia is in solid position to nab a divisional victory today as they face off against Giants QB Jake Fromm in his first career start.

  • PHI Quarterback #16
Eagles declared QB Reid Sinnett, DB Kary Vincent Jr., CB Tay Gowan, and DT Marlon Tuipulotu inactive for Week 15’s game against the Football Team.
No surprises here as almost all of Philadelphia’s important players practiced in full before the end of the week and did not carry an injury designation: Jalen Hurts, Jordan Howard, and Miles Sanders will all play. Landon Dickerson is out for the Eagles, forcing a new OL combination, but that feels pretty nice in comparison to what’s happening on the other side of the field.

  • PHI Quarterback #16
Eagles declared QB Reid Sinnett, DB Kary Vincent Jr., CB Tay Gowan, G Jack Anderson and DT Marlon Tuipulotu inactive for Week 10 against the Broncos.
No surprises here. DeVonta Smith is a full go after being limited mid-week for rest.

  • PHI Quarterback #16
Eagles claimed QB Reid Sinnett off waivers from the Dolphins.
The Eagles released long snapper Rick Lovato to make room for Sinnett, leaving them with four quarterbacks on their roster and no long snapper. This likely means that one of Joe Flacco or Gardner Minshew is on the chopping block unless an unheralded move involving Jalen Hurts is on the horizon. Sinnett was brought up from Miami’s practice squad to their active roster after Tua Tagovailoa got hurt but he did not see any action. With Tagovailoa healthy, the team waived him. A UDFA out of San Diego, Sinnett will need time to develop into a backup-caliber passer.
