Vikings selected Ohio State LB Ross Homan with the No. 200 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
A three-year starter at weak-side linebacker for the Buckeyes, Homan racked up an impressive seven career interceptions and was Ohio State’s leading solo tackler in each of his final two seasons. Homan doesn’t have exceptional measurables (6'0/229, 4.68 speed), but showed a knack for making big plays in coverage. He could be a special teamer and nickel ‘backer in Minnesota.
