    Colts waived WR Roy Hall.
Hall was due a minimum salary of $550K, but the Colts are giving up on him after an injury-ruined three years in Indianapolis. Though blessed with NFL size and speed, the 26-year-old has been unable to stay off the shelf.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Saints signed WR Roy Hall to a one-year contract.
The Saints’ receiver depth chart is jam-packed, but the fit is ideal for Hall’s skill set. Sean Payton could work wonders with a 6'3/240-pounder with 4.4 speed, perhaps in an H-back role or at slot receiver. The odds are against Hall making the roster, but he’ll be a player to keep an eye on if he does.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Colts signed fifth-round pick Roy Hall to a four-year contract.
The 240-pounder from OSU was used at wideout in minicamp but could play the slot or H-back once he gets ready for playing time. But barring rapid development, Hall may struggle to stay active on game days as a rookie.
  • DET Wide Receiver
WR Roy Hall (separated left shoulder) is expected to miss at least three weeks.
Hall was injured during a kickoff collision with Texans DL Cedric Killings in Week 3. Several Colts sat out Wednesday’s practice, including Tyjuan Hagler (player decision), cornerback Marlin Jackson (quadriceps) guard Ryan Lilja (knee), but all are expected to play this week.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Colts WR Roy Hall has been turning heads at camp.
Hall would rotate between receiver and H-back if he made the team. He fell in the draft after not seeing much playing time behind three first-round picks from Ohio State, but has great speed for his size. Those in deep keeper leagues might want to watch this kid.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Colts placed WR Roy Hall on injured reserve with a separated shoulder, ending his season.
Indianapolis grew tired of waiting for the rookie to heal up. Hall, a project from Ohio State, will again be in a battle to make the club in 2008.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Colts rookie Roy Hall worked as an outside receiver during minicamps.
The 6-3/240-pound Ohio State product could be used as an H-back or slot receiver during the year. Hall reportedly impressed during minicamps, but he’s unlikely to be any higher than fourth on the depth chart as a rookie.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Colts declared WR Roy Hall, CB Brannon Condren, RB Clifton Dawson, LB Clint Session, DL Dan Klecko, DL Jeff Charleston, CB Michael Coe, and rookie DL Quinn Pitcock inactive for Week 4.
Hall is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury. Strong-side linebacker Rob Morris returns to the lineup, sending Rocky Boiman back into a reserve role.
  • CIN Wide Receiver
    Colts released John Standeford.
Standeford had an opportunity to make the team, but lost out to Roy Hall. Standeford has exhausted his practice squad eligibility.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Roy Hall is expected to miss several weeks after injuring his shoulder in Week 3.
Hall injured his left shoulder on the kickoff collision with Cedric Killings.
