Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline writes that Baylor redshirt junior OL Sam Tecklenburg is “a powerful, wide-bodied guard with the ability to annihilate opponents.”
“Best in the running game, he’s a conventional blocker [who] would struggle in a zone blocking scheme,” Pauline notes of the 6-foot-4, 306-pound Tecklenburg. The redshirt junior has started 15 games during his career with the Bears. While he’s a probable guard for the next level, the bulk of his work as a collegiate performer has actually come at center.
