Eagles LB Shaun Bradley is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
The three-year veteran has appeared in 45 games for the Eagles, one of which was a start. Largely a situational and depth linebacker, his absence is likely to be made up for by the multiple young options in Philadelphia’s linebacker room.

Eagles signed sixth-round LB Shaun Bradley to a four-year contract.
The team also came to terms with first-round WR Jalen Reagor and second-round QB Jalen Hurts. Bradley checks in at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds with an athletic profile in the 65th percentile. He stays close to his college, moving to the Eagles from Temple, where he recorded three straight seasons of at least 78 tackles. His avenue to sticking on the roster certainly starts on special teams, but linebacker is likely the thinnest position group on the Eagles roster.

Eagles selected Temple LB Shaun Bradley with the No. 196 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Temple LB Shaun Bradley ran the 40-yard dash in an unofficial 4.51 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Jets on the soles of Bradley’s shoes, here. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound linebacker’s sprint is currently the fastest unofficial mark put up in the position group, though keep in mind that a number of players have yet to make their dashes. The time, here, was impressive, especially given that NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein earlier in the process voiced concerns about Bradley’s speed quotient.
  • FA Linebacker
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein writes that Temple LB Shaun Bradley’s pro stock is hurt by a lack of “traits and plus speed.”
"[Bradley is] not twitchy or athletic enough to get away without top-notch instincts and recognition. He’s just average in those areas,” Zierlein writes of the 6-foot-1, 225-pound Temple linebacker. The analyst does believe that Bradley’s scrap and hustle as a special teams cog could potentially allow him to claw for a roster spot in the NFL, but an outright draft selection isn’t a good bet, here.

Temple senior LB Shaun Bradley has been ejected from Saturday’s game vs. Buffalo for targeting.
This is a huge loss for Temple, as Bradley (6'1/225) is the team’s best defensive player. If there’s a positive it’s that the ejection occurred during the first half, meaning that the senior linebacker won’t miss any time beyond the remainder of Saturday’s game. Temple hosts Georgia Tech, which is led by former Temple HC Geoff Collins, September 28.

Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline gave Temple senior LB Shaun Bradley a fourth round grade in his scouting report on the Temple roster.
Bradley (6'1/225) isn’t the biggest linebacker but the size isn’t a huge concern to Pauline, who considers the senior to be a better draft prospect than teammate and fellow linebacker Sam Franklin. “I love Bradley’s quickness, speed and ability to close on the ball carrier,” Pauline wrote. “He’s very much what we see in the NFL these days at linebacker -- a slightly smaller defender who can get from point A to point B in the shortest of time spans.” Bradley is coming off of a 2018 season in which he accounted for 78 total tackles (four for loss), one sack, two interceptions (one returned for a score) and three passes defensed.
