    Seahawks signed OG Tremayne Anchrum.
Anchrum marks the third offensive lineman signed by the Seahawks this offseason, joining center Nick Harris and tackle George Fant. Seattle appears to be making their intentions clear under head coach Mike Macdonald and offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb after failing to live up to expectations in 2023. Anchrum should compete for a starting interior offensive line position in camp and preseason.

Rams placed RG Tremayne Anchrum on injured reserve with a fractured fibula.
Anchrum got the start at right guard in Week 2 against the Falcons and was injured two snaps into the game. He was already filling in with starting C Brian Allen (knee) week to week and RG Coleman Shelton kicking over to center. Alaric Jackson replaced Anchrum in the lineup versus Atlanta. This offensive line is in complete shambles.

Rams selected Clemson G Tremayne Anchrum with the No. 250 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Anchrum started 30 games over the last two seasons at right tackle, but due to his sub-6-foot-2 height he likely will shift inside to guard. The Rams certainly need to play better along the front five in 2020, as run blocking and pass protection was a major factor in their step back in 2019. Anchrum might fill a utility role if he sticks on an NFL roster.

One of Clemson OL Tremayne Anchrum’s strength are is pass protection slides, which were described as “rhythmic and smooth” by NFL.com draft analyst Lance Zierlein.
Anchrum (6'2/310) spent the majority of his collegiate career at right tackle, but the expectation of many draft analysts is that he’ll have to slide inside to guard at the next level. While his size/length are viewed as negatives, one of the former Clemson standout’s positive traits is the way in which he gets to his assignments according to Zierlein. “Anchrum does an excellent job of getting to landmarks laterally as a move blocker and has above-average body control to adjust and capture his second-level blocks,” Zierlein wrote. Anchrum projects to hear his name called on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.

Clemson senior OL Tremayne Anchrum has accepted his invite to the 2020 Senior Bowl.
The Senior Bowl is the perfect event for an OL like Anchrum (6'2/315) who may switch positions in the NFL. Right now, Anchrum plays right tackle for Clemson and wins primarily through sound technique and ample strength. Anchrum is not the smoothest athlete, however, and many analysts have speculated a move to guard once he hits the NFL. Look for Anchrum to get reps at both tackle and guard at the Senior Bowl.

In his too-early 2020 big board, Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller tagged Clemson senior OL Tremayne Anchrum as his biggest question mark for the position.
Miller tentatively slots Anchrum in as his No. 8 guard in the prospective 2020 class. The 6-foot-2, 310-pounder worked exclusively as Clemson’s starting right tackle this past season -- according to PFF, he allowed the fewest quarterback pressures among ACC tackles -- but Miller believes (at least at this early juncture) that his ultimate pro home will come at guard. For his fine work during the 2018 campaign, Anchrum was named second-team All-ACC.

Per Pro Football Focus, senior OT Tremayne Anchrum allowed the fewest quarterback pressures allowed among ACC tackles.
Pro Football Focus put a 250 pass-blocking snap threshold to weed out the guys who aren’t full-time players. Anchrum allowed only 11 quarterback pressures last season, beating out Virginia Tech OT Christian Darrisaw (12), UNC OT Charlie Heck (14), NC State OT Justin Witt (16), and Miami OT DJ Scaife Jr (18) for the top spot. Anchrum wasn’t a full-time starter until the 2018 season but has made his mark. If he can turn in another strong season he’ll likely be on the NFL’s radar.
