Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown is questionable to return in Week 13 against the Packers after suffering an ankle injury.
St. Brown was embracing the Lions’ “no block, no rock” philosophy by attempting to help RB Jahmyr Gibbs pick up yards on a run play. The Packers’ defender stood St. Brown up just before fill-in starting C Trystan Colon and LG Kayode Awosika hit the ground behind him, simultaneously rolling in the back of St. Brown’s legs. Lions trainers were seemingly assessing St. Brown’s right ankle before the broadcast cut to commercial. He headed straight to the locker room once he was on his feet.
  • DET Center #63
Lions signed OG Trystan Colon, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
The move gives Detroit some interior offensive line depth following center Frank Ragnow’s abrupt retirement. Colon started seven games at right guard for the Cardinals last season. He previously made starts at left guard in Arizona and earned a handful of spot starts at center while in Baltimore. His addition will create some flexibility in the trenches for Detroit even if he doesn’t win a starting job in camp.
  • ARI Center #63
Cardinals re-signed LG Trystan Colon to a one-year, $1.75 million contract.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Colon can earn more money through incentives. A UDFA in 2020, Colon spent three years with the Ravens before signing with the Jets last offseason. He was waived at the end of training camp. The Cardinals claimed him off waivers and he appeared in 14 games for Arizona, four of which were starts. Colon was primarily a center in Baltimore but made all four of his starts at left guard for the Cardinals.
  • BAL Quarterback
Ravens re-signed QB Tyler Huntley to a one-year contract.
Trystan Colon, Nick Moore, Geno Stone, Kristian Welch, and Ty’Son Williams were also re-signed. Huntley and the rest of the players were ERFAs. Baltimore tendered them meaning all will return on one-year deals. Huntley started four games while applying the bulk of a fifth contest last year. He threw three touchdowns and four interceptions but also rushed for two scores and 294 yards. Huntley looked like a typical backup but his rushing ability makes it easy to keep the offense unchanged whenever Lamar Jackson is forced from the lineup. Though there’s no quarterback controversy in Baltimore, Huntley is a valuable piece of the roster because of his skill set.
