Texans waived QB Tyler Sheehan, OT Adam Ulatoski, WR London Crawford, OG Kristian Matte, LB Will Patterson, and FB Jack Corcoran.

All were undrafted rookies. Sheehan, from Bowling Green, was beat out by John David Booty for the third-string QB job heading to camp. Corcoran became expendable following Wednesday’s signing of Justin Griffith. The Houston Chronicle jinxed Ulatoski by publishing a feature on him Tuesday morning.

Texans waived DT Deljuan Robinson, LB Will Patterson, OT Cole Pemberton, DT Malcolm Sheppard, OT Adam Stenavich, and WR Derrick Townsel.

Patterson, Townsel, Pemberton, and Sheppard were undrafted rookies. Stenavich played at Michigan. Robinson had fallen out of favor in recent years.

Texans placed LB Darnell Bing (neck) on injured reserve, ending his season, and re-signed LB Will Patterson.

The former college safety Bing’s injury wasn’t disclosed, but he figures to receive an injury settlement later on. Patterson is an undrafted free agent.
