A onetime point guard on the Florida International University basketball team, Taylor burned up the track at 4.27 and 4.34 in the forty at FIU’s pro day. The Vikings told Taylor up front he was a long shot to the make the team, but he will get a look at corner, punt returner, and possibly receiver.

Taylor, a speedy former point guard at Florida International, sustained a torn labrum on the first full day of training camp. He’ll require a significant surgery and will probably receive an injury settlement. Stroud is an undrafted rookie out of Webber International.

Taylor tore his labrum at the outset of training camp last season and spent the whole year on injured reserve. The former FIU point guard will get another look thanks to his unique speed.
