The Jazz are releasing guard Nigel Williams-Goss.
Williams-Goss was the fourth PG on the depth chart, so his departure comes as no surprise. Maybe he’ll catch on elsewhere, but there’s no fantasy value to be found here.

Jazz writer Tony Jones feels that Nigel Williams-Goss has “a pretty plausible path” to earning minutes at some point during the 2020-21 season.
Jones opines that Williams-Goss is “probably fourth” on the PG depth chart behind Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles, but he could earn some minutes if any of those veterans go down for an extended period of time. For now, fantasy GMs can safely ignore him.

Nigel Williams-Goss (left ankle) will not play on Saturday against the Nuggets.
    He’s a non-factor in the rotation, anyway.

Nigel Williams-Goss (left ankle) will not play on Friday against the Spurs.
There was opportunity for him to get minutes tomorrow night with the Jazz resting most of their starting lineup, but it wasn’t to be. Williams-Goss is completely irrelevant in fantasy hoops.

Nigel Williams-Goss will get the start at point guard against the Adelaide 36ers on Saturday.
Williams-Goss will be joined by Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jeff Green and Ed Davis in the starting lineup. Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley are all out for resting purposes, giving guys like Williams-Goss a big chance at extra minutes.

The Jazz are signing Nigel Williams-Goss to a 3-year contract, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic.
Utah initially selected Williams-Goss with the 55th overall pick in the 2017 draft after a stellar career at Gonzaga. However, he has played in Europe for the last two years and is now ready to make the jump to the NBA. Per Jones, Utah is bringing in Williams-Goss “to play at the back of the roster... If he doesn’t play much for the Jazz, expect him to get developmental minutes” in the G League.

The Utah Jazz selected PG Nigel Williams-Goss with the No. 55 selection in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Goss, a 6'4", 180-pound point guard out of Gonzaga, is known to use his size effectively despite the fact that he’s not a great athlete. There are some questions about how effective he can be in the halfcourt, especially against bigger players he’ll match up against, and it’s hard to imagine Utah forcing his development by throwing him into something he’s not ready for too early. Regardless of how George Hill’s free agency shakes out, expect the Jazz to be active in the point guard market.

The Jazz may sign Nigel Williams-Goss to a two-way contract, according to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News.
Utah selected Williams-Goss with the 55th pick in the 2017 draft. He wasn’t overly impressive in the five games he played in Las Vegas this month. He averaged 4.4 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.2 rebounds, while shooting just 23.3 percent from the floor. The Jazz already has 15 players under contract, so the best Williams-Goss can hope for is a two-way pact. If not, he may have to spend next season overseas.
