Ryan Lochte and fiancée Kayla Rae Reid welcomed their baby boy, Caiden Zane Lochte, this morning, according to Lochte’s social media.

“Never seen a miracle happen before,” was posted on the swimmer’s social media. “Until this morning at 5:46 am when CAIDEN ZANE LOCHTE was born. 7lbs 14oz, 22 inches. can’t stop crying from tears of joy. Dream come true!”

Lochte proposed to Reid last year, and they plan to get married.

Lochte, a 12-time Olympic medalist, can return from his 10-month USA Swimming suspension in July following his Rio Olympic gas station incident. He reportedly has meets planned starting in August.

Lochte has already competed this spring in a non-USA Swimming-sanctioned meet.

Both Lochte and longtime rival Michael Phelps picked unique names for their sons. Neither a Caiden nor a Boomer has competed at an Olympics.

Lochte plans to compete through the 2020 Olympic season, eyeing his fifth Olympics.

While Phelps has retired, fellow dads Anthony Ervin (two-time Olympic 50m free champ) and Matt Grevers (2012 Olympic 100m back champ) are still competing.
