World all-around champion Simone Biles will miss the Pacific Rim Championships after aggravating a shoulder, according to USA Gymnastics.

Biles, 17, also pulled out of March’s American Cup in February after aggravating a shoulder injury at a national team camp. She was expected then to get an MRI.

Biles appeared healthy in podium training Monday, performing a new floor exercise routine in Richmond, B.C. Competition begins Wednesday at the Richmond Olympic Oval, home of speed skating at the 2010 Olympics.

2012 Olympic champion Kyla Ross and American Cup winner Elizabeth Price were already slated to compete. Peyton Ernst has been named as a replacement for Biles.
