Online Olympic ticket buyers have the chance to receive unique souvenir tickets with “patchwork quilt” designs.
The Sochi Olympic Organizing Committee unveiled the tickets on Sunday.
It appears buyers inside Russia will have an easier time getting their hands on the tickets than those outside of the Olympic host country.
The tickets include the name of the venue, event and the Olympic rings.
There’s also the Sochi 2014 slogan, “Hot. Cool. Yours.” in English on the front and in Russian on the back.
The ticket for Opening and Closing Ceremonies features an image of Fisht Stadium.
The tickets are also color coded in five different designs based on venues.
Souvenir tickets are only available to spectators who buy online at tickets.sochi2014.com and select the “Delivery” option. This means that fans in Russia wanting to get their hands on one will need to act quickly, as “Delivery” will only be available until November, 15, 2013. Fans outside of Russia wanting to buy souvenir tickets for the Games should contact their local National Olympic Committee or its Authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) for more information (A full list of ATRs is available here).
