Spain’s Josep Anton Velazquez may not be an Olympian, but he’s one crafty table tennis player.
The International Table Tennis Federation chose Velazquez’s shot (video below) as its 2013 ITTF Trick Shot Showdown winner on Wednesday.
Velazquez’s submission was declared the winner from more than 80 applicants, according to the ITTF.
His prize?
A seven-day trip to Dubai for the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals, Jan. 9-12, and a one-year sponsorship from STIGA Table Tennis.
