Trevor Moore, a 2012 U.S. Olympic sailor, was missing after his unmanned boat was found near a Miami marina, according to the U.S. Coast Guard and Moore’s fiancée on Friday morning.
“My fiancé and best friend, Trevor Moore, is missing after a boat ride In coconut grove this afternoon,” was posted on Libby Patton‘s Facebook account. “His boat was found this evening--still in gear-- by a small island close to shore. please pray for Trevor”
Moore went out on a boat alone in Biscayne Bay near Miami on Thursday, according to US Sailing.
Moore, 30, finished 15th in the skiff with Eric Storck at the London 2012 Olympics.
