STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 14, 2024 – Tiger Woods kicks off his 2024 PGA TOUR season as he hosts The Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on GOLF Channel and Peacock.
PGA TOUR: THE GENESIS INVITATIONAL
The Genesis Invitational – hosted by Tiger Woods – at Riviera Country Club, as Woods makes his first appearance on the PGA TOUR this season. This is the third signature event of the season, offering 700 FedEx Cup points and a $4 million prize to the winner.
The competitive field will feature four of the top five players in the world, including Scottie Scheffler (World No.1), Rory McIlroy (World No. 2), Viktor Hovland (World No. 4), and Xander Schauffele (World No.5). Scheffler currently leads the PGA TOUR in Greens in Regulation Percentage (88.38%) this season, with Schauffele currently ranking second (80.3%).
Live tournament coverage begins Thursday at 4 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. In addition, GOLF Channel will provide live coverage of Woods’ annual Wednesday press conference as tournament host.

The Chubb Classic will be held at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., this week. One of the longest running events on the senior circuit, this is the 37th playing of the event. 1992 Masters champion and 15-time PGA TOUR winner Fred Couples headlines the field at this week’s event. Two-time major champion John Daly is also expected to compete in this event.
