STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 16, 2026 – The penultimate round of the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs begins this Saturday from Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, Calif., at 7 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock. Pre-race coverage begins at 5 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock before transitioning to Peacock and NBCSN at 6 p.m. ET.
Additionally, live coverage of IMSA’s TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks from Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be presented this Sunday, Sept. 20, at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS – ROUND 2
Last weekend’s first round of the World Championship Playoffs saw two-time SMX 250 World Champion Haiden Deegan earn his first premier class victory in the 450SMX Class, edging out runner-up and 2026 450SX champion Ken Roczen and third-place finisher Jorge Prado in his SMX Playoffs debut. In the 250SMX Class, Levi Kitchen took home the win, followed by Daxton Bennick in second and Ryder DiFrancesco in third. 2026 250MX champion Cole Davies sits 10 points behind Kitchen in the points standings.
NBC Sports’ Jason Weigandt will call the race alongside 15-time AMA champion Ricky Carmichael and three-time AMA champion James Stewart. Will Christien, Jason Thomas, and Katie Osborne will serve as reporters.

The World Championship Final will be held at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Mo., on Sept. 26.

IMSA – TIRERACK.COM BATTLE ON THE BRICKS
IMSA returns this week with the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks from Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday, Sept. 20, at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The 2.4-mile, 14-turn road race held at one of the most iconic venues in motorsports features 44 cars across the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), and Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2), Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO), Grand Touring Daytona (GTD)
The penultimate race of the season sees all four classes with tight championship battles. The premier GTP class is back with Jack Aiken looking for a virtual clinch this weekend over Lauren Heinrich, who moves to Penske Porsche for the final two races; Jeremy Clarke and Tom Dillmann (LMP2 Inter Europol Competition) look to win a third straight as they sit 36 points behind George Kurtz and Alex Quinn (#04 Crowdstrike); the GTD Pro class is the closest points race in history with 67 points separating the top five, including Andrea Caldarelli and Sandy Mitchell (Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini) following back-to-back wins; and the #57 Winward Racing Team seeks a third straight win as well as they jumped into the points lead after VIR. Additionally, Mikkel Jensen (TDS Racing) goes for his fourth career Brickyard win.
