STAMFORD, Conn. – June 24, 2026 – World No. 1 Nelly Korda, fresh off major victories at The Chevron Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open this season, headlines the field at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship from Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., with NBC Sports presenting live weekend coverage across NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN.
Established in 1955, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is one of the LPGA Tour’s five major championships and the second-oldest major in women’s golf. A field of 156 players will compete for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
Korda has already won four times this season as she goes for her second career KPMG Women’s PGA title, after winning this event in 2021, and fifth major overall. A win this week would also qualify Korda for the LPGA Hall of Fame, earning her two points to reach the 27-point entry threshold.
Defending champion Minjee Lee returns to Hazeltine after earning a three-stroke victory at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco last year. The win marked Lee’s third career major championship.
Joining Korda and Lee at Hazeltine are several of the top-ranked players in the world, including Jeeno Thitikul (No. 2), Hyo Joo Kim (No. 3), Charley Hull (No. 4), and Lottie Woad (No. 5).
Additionally, Lydia Ko (No. 11) enters the week with an opportunity to win her fourth different major and complete the LPGA’s career Grand Slam with a victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
