The Thunder announced on Sunday that Scotty Hopson has been waived.
Not a surprise, as the transaction means that the Thunder will retain Hopson’s G League rights. This won’t have any impact in fantasy basketball circles.

The Thunder signed Scotty Hopson to a training camp deal on Saturday.
This was likely just to be able to add him to their G-League roster. This won’t impact fantasy hoops, and there’s a good chance he’s cut by Monday.

The Thunder have signed Scotty Hopson, Olivier Sarr and Rob Edwards to 10-day hardship contracts.
Hopson has had a 10-day with the Thunder in the past, as well as the Mavericks, and has had some NBA opportunities in the past without much success. Maybe this time will be different for the former Tennessee standout.

Scotty Hopson has signed a 10-day contract with the Thunder.
It’s a bit odd timing with Hopson essentially only getting one game here to make an impression on the Thunder. Maybe he’ll see meaningful minutes if Thursday’s matchup with the Pelicans turns into a blowout, but there’s too much uncertainty here to consider him a viable target in fantasy hoops.

Scotty Hopson will reportedly suit up for the Pacers and Trail Blazers at summer league.
Hopson will be playing in both the Orlando and Las Vegas summer league, and perhaps that turns into a training camp invite. Hopson will not be a fantasy factor next season.

The Cavs announced on Sunday that they have assigned Scotty Hopson to the D-League.
Hopson has played in just under two minutes for the Cavs in one appearance this season. The move to the D-League will allow him to get some more minutes, but there are no fantasy implications here. Move along.

The Hornets officially completed their draft day deal with the Cavs on Saturday, sending Brendan Haywood and the draft rights to Stanford forward Dwight Powell to Cleveland in exchange for Scotty Hopson.
It’s unlikely that Hopson will play for Charlotte as his $2.45 million salary slot for next season is a team option. This move was more about Charlotte ridding themselves of the $2 million owed to Haywood for the 2014-15 season. Haywood missed the entire 2013-14 season with a fractured foot, and he is not a fantasy option.

The Hornets traded SF Scotty Hopson to the Pelicans in exchange for cash on Sunday.
Hopson was dealt from the Cavaliers to the Hornets to the Pelicans within the span of two days, and he’s likely heading to the Rockets as part of Sunday’s complex sign-and-trade frenzy centered around Trevor Ariza and Omer Asik. Hopson is merely a throw-in to make the deals work financially, and he’s unlikely to make a dent in New Orleans, Houston or anywhere else this season.

The Cavaliers will reportedly sign free agent G/F Scotty Hopson for the remainder of the season.
Hopson has been averaging 15.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in Turkey this season. Even if he does crack the rotation he won’t be a fantasy asset.

Scotty Hopson has signed a contract with the Foshan Lions of China.
It’s unlikely he plays in the NBA this season, so it’s safe to ignore him in all leagues on draft day.
