Sean Kazmar Jr. went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI Wednesday against the Pirates.
Unless you’re a big Gwinnett Braves fan, you might not have known Kazmar was still playing, if you ever knew in the first place; his lone major league stint came with the Padres way back in 2008. Actually, this is the first time in his 17 professional seasons that we’ve ever blurbed him for anything other than a transaction. Something of a player/coach at this point, he’s slated to spend an eighth straight year with the Braves’ Triple-A affiliate this season. He hit .270/.333/.430 with 13 homers in 381 at-bats for Gwinnett last year.
