Shelvin Mack has reportedly agreed to a deal with Olimpia Milano of Italy.
The length of the deal isn’t clear nor do we know if it includes an NBA buyout clause. Mack is a serviceable backup PG, but he’ll be 29 next season, so we may have already seen the last of him at the NBA level.

Shelvin Mack (personal) will not play on Tuesday vs. Cleveland.
His absence will go unnoticed because he’s not in the rotation.
  • CHA Point Guard #9
Tony Parker (rest) will not play Saturday vs. the Bucks.
The vet will get the night off, as Saturday is the second leg of a back-to-back for Charlotte. Minimal fantasy impact here, as Shelvin Mack and/or Malik Monk will likely divvy up the abandoned minutes.

Tony Parker (back) is doubtful to play on Thursday against the Magic.
Parker has sat out the past three games, and he was limited at Wednesday’s practice, so it looks like he’ll be spending the final four games going into the break on the sidelines. Devonte’ Graham and Shelvin Mack will pick up the bulk of the backup PG minutes while he’s out.

Shelvin Mack was awful in his Charlotte debut on Monday vs. the Pacers, finishing scoreless with two missed shots, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes.
He was a -20 during his time on the floor, so obviously he’ll want this one back. Mack will be competing with Devonte’ Graham (illness) for third-string PG duties once Tony Parker (back) comes back.

Shelvin Mack will make his debut on Monday vs. the Pacers.
Tony Parker (back) and Devonte’ Graham (illness) are both out, so Mack will likely be the backup PG behind Kemba Walker tonight. There’s very little fantasy appeal here as he’s probably looking at minutes in the teens.

The Hornets have claimed G Shelvin Mack off waivers.
Mack was traded from Memphis to Atlanta at the deadline, but was promptly waived. It didn’t take him long to find another team but this isn’t a great landing spot for fantasy, on a roster that already includes Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lamb, Tony Parker, Malik Monk and Tony Parker. Mack is likely just emergency depth while Parker (back) is on the mend.

The Atlanta Hawks will waive Shelvin Mack.
He’s a serviceable backup, but wasn’t needed in Atlanta behind Trae Young and Jeremy Lin. Mack will likely try to latch on with a contender and can be left on the waiver wire.

Shelvin Mack will be traded from the Grizzlies to the Hawks in a deal for Tyler Dorsey, according to Michael Wallace.
Mack will join a crowded backcourt in Atlanta that includes starting rookie sensation Trae Young and veteran Jeremy Lin. Lin’s name has been bantered about in trade chatter, and if he leaves Atlanta, Mack could squeeze out some deep-league value as Trae’s back up. But if all three stay in Atlanta, Mack will probably be the odd man out.

Shelvin Mack returned to the bench on Sunday, where he finished with two points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block across 25 minutes.
Mack was coming off a 19-point performance, but he crashed back to earth tonight with the move back to the second unit and finished just 1-of-8 from the field. Mack does offer upside in the defensive categories, and he could have some low-end value in deep leagues if Mike Conley is dealt at the deadline, but this is a situation that can be watched from the waiver wire in most scenarios.
