Things aren’t getting any better for Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund.

Shockingly mired at the bottom of the Bundesliga table despite succeeding in the UEFA Champions League and boasting stars like Mats Hummels and Roman Weidenfeller.

Those two feature heavily in Wednesday’s Bundesliga wrap, as they headed into the stands after another poor performance at home by BVB.

Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Augsburg

Honestly, what is going on here? With loads of respect to an Augsburg side that is contending for a European place, Dortmund couldn’t find an equalizer despite being up a man for nearly a half-hour.

Raul Bobadilla put the visitors up in the 50th minute before his teammate, Christoph Janker, picked up a straight red 14 minutes later. The hosts out-attempted Augsburg 15-8 on the game but could not find a single finish, let alone all three points.

And so Weidenfeller and Hummels tried to explain their woes to a bevy of angry BVB fans at the Westfalenstadion.

It was Dortmund’s first ever loss to Augsburg.
