Chelsea blew away a brave Swansea City side at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to go top of the Premier League, as Diego Costa scored a hat trick in a 4-2 win.
The Blues fell behind early on as John Terry put into his own net but on half time Costa equalizer and Chelsea never looked back. The Brazilian scored twice more in the second half, taking his tally to seven goals in his first four PL matches after arriving from Atletic Madrid this summer. Simply stunning.
Debutant Loic Remy then came on to score and make it 4-1 as Chelsea, then Jonjo Shelvey scored to make it 4-2 and finish the scoring. Chelsea ade it four wins from four to start the season, as the Swans tasted defeat after a bright start.

Chelsea fell behind early on to Swansea, as Neil Taylor was set free down the left and his teasing cross was knocked into his own goal by John Terry to give the visitors a shock 1-0 lead.
Soon after that, Gomis drilled an effort just wide as the South Wales side were full of confidence at Stamford Bridge. The Swans just kept flooding forward down the left hand side and Wayne Routledge curled an effort just wide of the far post as Mourinho’s men failed to get going early on.
Chelsea then began to create chances as Andre Schurrle saw his free kick tipped over, then Diego Costa headed over in the space of a few minutes as Swansea dropped deeper and deeper. Neat build up play around the edge of the Swansea box set up Oscar but the Brazilian attacker saw his shot saved by Lukasz Fabianski. Right on half time Chelsea finally got level as a corner from the right was met by Costa who headed home his fifth goal in his first four PL appearances to make it 1-1.

At half time Ramires came on for Schurrle in Chelsea’s midfield as Mourinho switched things around. Chelsea continued to push to go ahead, as Costa saw an effort deflected over with Swansea pinned back.
The Blues then, deservedly, went ahead, as Hazard and Cesc Fabregas combined to tee up Costa for a tap in to put Chelsea 2-1 up. That opened the floodgates as Costa grabbed his hat trick as Ramires’ tame shot found its way through to him and the Spaniard tapped home to bag his first Chelsea hat trick.
Loic Remy came on for his debut soon after, replacing Costa who received a standing ovation from his adoring fans. Late on Swansea tried their best to get bac in the game but Chelsea should have extended their lead through Oscar and Branislav Ivanovic. Remy added a fourth with a clinical finish following good work from Hazard and Oscar, then Shelvey scored a late goal for Swansea to bring some respectability back to the scoreline.
