Cristiano Ronaldo is hitting the big screen as the Real Madrid superstar has announced he will be releasing a documentary film showcasing his 2014-15 season.

The film is simply titled “Ronaldo” and will be released in the Fall of 2015.

It is described as a “powerful documentary following a year in the life of the world’s best footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Award-winning director Anthony Wonke will be directing the documentary as Ronaldo has had enjoyed a roller-coaster 2014-15.

From winning the Ballon d’Or as the world’s best player to suffering heartache with Real Madrid and in his personal life after splitting with his girlfriend Irina Shayk, Ronaldo’s story will no doubt be worth watching.

So, after FIFA’s $30 million film “United Passions” only brought in $900 in U.S. box offices in the opening week, what is the over/under on Ronaldo’s film making more than that?
