The Premier League’s new transfer deadline hit with a flurry of moves joining a window that burst into life early with single names like Fabinho and Fred finding new clubs.

Newcastle United snuck a deal over the line, adding Swansea City captain Federico Fernandez to help ease the burden of Florian Lejeune’s long-term injury.
Fulham went big, adding five players. And the names are impressive, headlined by midfielder Andre Zambo Anguissa from Marseille and goalkeeper Sergio Rico, on loan from Sevilla. Also joining the Cottagers are Timothy-Fosu Mensah (loan, Manchester United), Joe Bryan ($10 million, Bristol City), and Luciano Vietto (loan, Atletico Madrid).
Everton was also busy, completing a move for Bernard from Shakhtar Donetsk on a free transfer in addition to $36.6 million defender Yerry Mina from Barcelona, and also taking Andre Gomes on loan from the Blaugranas.
Chelsea gets Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid, and
Wolverhampton takes Leander Dendocker on loan from Anderlecht.
Man City adds 19-year-old Australian striker Daniel Arzani from Melbourne City.
Southampton will take Danny Ings on loan from Liverpool with a view to a permanent deal next summer.
West Ham United buys striker Lucas Perez from Arsenal, and also added Carlos Sanchez from Fiorentina.
Crystal Palace is taking Jordan Ayew on loan from Swansea City.
Huddersfield Town will take Isaac Mbenza on loan from Montpellier.
Brighton and Hove Albion nabbed two players on a permanent basis, Peter Gwargis from Jonkopings Sodra and Dan Burn of Wigan Athletic.
Cardiff City is loaning Real Betis’ Victor Camarasa.
Leicester City signs Filip Benkovic from Dinamo Zagreb.
