Havard Nordtveit is headed from Germany to England, and it seems West Ham United is the destination.
The 6-foot-2, 25-year-old Nordtveit is a complete midfielder, good in possession and defense plus capable in the attacking game. He’s scored a career-best four goals this season as Borussia Monchengladbach pushes for the UEFA Champions League.

Twenty-four times capped by Norway, Nordtveit is out of contract this summer. Several reports claim he’s chosen West Ham as his new home. Here’s what the midfielder said on ‘Gladbach’s site:
Nordtveit spent a year with Arsenal as a teenager, but didn’t make an appearance with the senior team. He said he’d prefer to let his new team announce his destination.
A spot in the West Ham set-up behind Dimitri Payet would give the side tremendous depth into what should be a season with European football.
The UEFA Champions League hopeful Irons currently sit in fifth place, three points back of third-place Arsenal and two back of Manchester City.
