Fabian Delph just had one of the shorter shifts in international history.

The Manchester City man appeared to injure his hamstring in a non-contact injury moments after England kicked off against Switzerland in Tuesday’s Euro 2016 qualifier.

Delph was removed from the pitch and replaced by Ross Barkley.

The 25-year-old moved from Aston Villa to City this summer for approximately $12 million and has played once for the Citizens, who are unbeaten through four rounds of the Premier League season.

He’s an integral cog for City if the club wants to successfully navigate its congested schedule in Europe and England.
