Lampard announced his retirement as a professional on Thursday and the 38-year-old will go down as one of the greatest players of the modern era.
A goalscoring midfielder, the Englishman became Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer with 211 goals in 649 games and also played over 106 times for England.
Winning 13 major trophies in his glittering career, Lampard joined Chelsea in 2001 from West Ham and led the Blues and England from midfield before finishing his career in Major League Soccer with New York City FC after a brief loan spell with Manchester City en route.
