Leicester’s Vardy hails “biggest achievement in history of a great club”
Jamie Vardy is a Premier League champion.
The Leicester City forward, 29, has scored the goals which has won the Foxes the title, as his 22 goals this season have been crucial in the Foxes pulling off the most remarkable title win in Premier League history.

They were 5000-1 outsiders to win the PL before this season and favorites for relegation. Vardy’s tenacity, ability to finish under pressure and sheer pace has ripped opponents apart.
Vardy was playing in the fifth-tier of English soccer less than four years ago. On Monday he was voted the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year and won the PL.

“It’s an unbelievable feeling, I’ve never known anything like it. We were scrapping to stay in the league last season and on Saturday we’ll be lifting the trophy,” Vardy said. “That gives you an idea of how much hard work has gone into this season from every single player and member of staff.
“It’s the biggest achievement in the history of a great club and we all feel privileged to be part of it. It’s even more special to have done it with these lads. Every minute of hard work we’ve put in on the training pitch has been worth it for this moment.”
Vardy will go down in history as one of the main men who helped Leicester achieve the unthinkable. He’s already achieved incredible things this season as he broke a PL record for scoring in 11 consecutive games.

Everybody in Leicester has been having a “Vardy Party” for quite some time. On Monday night, and for the next few days, it will be the biggest celebration the Midlands city has ever seen.
Next up: Vardy will be the star of a Hollywood move and starring in the UEFA Champions League with the champions of England next season.
