Well, that escalated quickly.
Just two days after being named as Lazio’s new manager, Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa has walked out of the Serie A club.

Bielsa, 60, has been out of work since leaving Marseille after the opening weekend of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season.
Far from impressed with his strange decision to leave after being hired on Wednesday, Lazio released the following statement about Bielsa.
The Rome based club is also said to be considering whether to take legal action against Bielsa and have put Simone Inzaghi in charge.

What could have possibly changed Bielsa’s mind just a few days into the job? Many things.
He was even due to arrive in Rome until Saturday but perhaps a better opportunity has now arrived. The former manager of the Argentine national team from 1998-2004 has been linked with a return to that position following the departure of Gerardo Martino.
Bielsa has also been linked with the England job but it is difficult to know exactly why he took this drastic decision because he’s made so many bizarre decisions in the past. He is know to be temperamental, often giving outrageously long press conferences and confusing many with his actions.
His genius as a coach is, however, undoubted.
A proponent of the high-pressing style of play, coaches such as Mauricio Pochettino and Jorge Sampaoli are said to be disciple of Bielsa’s way of playing, as he also preferred a 3-3-3-1 formation while in charge of the Chilean national team, Atheltic Bilbao and Marseille.
It remains to be seen how this ends up but Lazio has been left angry and Bielsa is still without a new club.
Safe to say he is still a man in demand but signing a contract then walking away in this manner will not impress too many in the industry.
