Lionel Messi is having a game on the biggest stage, but Angel Di Maria’s been the star of the show as has “The Other Lionel” of Argentina in the 2022 World Cup Final in Qatar.
Messi converted a Di Maria-won penalty and then got the “hockey assist” on Alexis Mac Allister’s feed to Di Maria for 2-0 before halftime.
The “Atomic Ant” is on track to finally put a World Cup on his resume after collecting a Copa America crown a couple of years ago, but there’s plenty of time for France to get back in the match.

Di Maria had the lone goal on that trophy-collecting day and he’s been the Man of the Match after landing a surprise start for Argentina in Sunday’s World Cup Final.
Lionel Scaloni, the aforementioned second Leo, is 44 years old and in his first managerial position higher than Argentina’s U-20s (He assisted Seviall and Argentina).
He’s already well-positioned for whatever he wants to do next, but a win here makes him the hottest available name in coaching.
