Two divers have recovered the microphone Cristiano Ronaldo infamously threw into the lake, and it will be auctioned off for charity by Portuguese news channel CMTV.

CMTV reporter Diogo Torres approached Ronaldo prior to Portugal’s match against Hungary in the Euro 2016 group stages, hoping to ask the Real Madrid star if his team was ready for the upcoming game that day. Instead, Ronaldo said nothing, choosing to snatch the microphone from Torres’ hand and toss it over his shoulder into a nearby lake.

The channel announced they would be auctioning off the microphone to benefit a charity that helps disabled children in Ronaldo’s hometown of Funchal.

Ronaldo likely threw the microphone into the lake because of his long-standing dislike for CMTV, whom he has refused to answer questions from for years and previously won an invasion of privacy lawsuit against.
